Pastor Phillip Miller came to First Baptist Church in June of 2006. Born and raised in the country near Judsonia, AR, Bro. Miller still loves to do country things-play in the dirt, hunt, and fish. He also loves to read and spend time with his family-his wife Lorie and two daughters Hannah and Maddie. Bro. Miller received his college degree in English from the University of Central Arkansas and Doctorate in Theology from the Missionary Baptist Seminary where he also teaches. Bro. Miller believes that his most important job as pastor is to preach God's perfect Word, the Bible, accurately because it is the final word on all matters of a person's relationship with God. Bro. Miller loves pastoring God's precious people at First Baptist and has a strong desire to see people come to know Christ as Savior and make Him Lord of their lives.
- Music Director
Ann Russell has served First Baptist Church as secretary for more than 37 years and worked with many pastors and other staff members. She has been a member of First Baptist Church since she was saved (except for a year and a half when she moved out of state). She takes care of the finances, Sunday bulletins, and many other necessary jobs for the church. Ann enjoys reading, antiquing, and spending time with her family--her husband Bill, three children Jeff, Suzanne Griffin, Mitch, and all their family. She especially enjoy her great grandchildren Kinnley and Barrett. Ann was born and raised in Bryant and has seen it grow from under 300 people to what it is now. She has also seen First Baptist Church grow from a little white church, in which she was married, to the church it is today. She has worked with the people of First Baptist to build the church both physically and spiritually. Ann says, “What great fellowship we enjoy when we work together. May we continue working together for the Lord in the years to come.”

He loves teaching students more about God’s Word and working to build stronger relationships with each of them. Along with serving as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist, Bro. Zach was ordained to the position of Associate Pastor in 2010 and serves in pastoral work alongside Bro. Miller.
