About First Baptist Church of Bryant, Arkansas

Speaking the Truth in Love

First Baptist Church is an assembly of people who have been saved by the grace of God, scripturally immersed (baptized) in water by the authority of a local, true, New Testament church, and have come together in a covenant relationship to carry out the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are affiliated with the American Baptist Association, and we are also the sponsoring church for Friends in Faith Baptist Church in O'Fallon, Missouri.
Our doctrinal statement is available, outlining what we believe.

On Sunday morning, services begin at 9:45am with Sunday School. We have classes available for all ages. The congregational worship service begins at 10:45am in the sanctuary. Nursery and Children's Chapel are also provided during this time. Bro. Phillip Miller has served as pastor since July 2006.

The faces of a church change through the years, but the truths of the Word of God never change. First Baptist has had new pastors and new members, but the same old great truths remain. Since 1884, First Baptist has held to the teachings of the Bible as her standard for faith and practice. In 2009, First Baptist Church is celebrating our 125th Anniversary of service in Bryant. Our prayer is that our church will always be a “pillar and ground of the truth”.
